Now it's time for some of my favorite books....................................
I am pleased that I exceeded my goal of books read this year, to be honest reading has taken a backseat to stitching for many years now! Have you read any of my favorites too? I'd love to hear what you thought about them :) Stay tuned to find out what I plan to read in 2013.
There's no special plans for me tonight....I'm not a big fan of New Year's Eve. We do have a busy day tomorrow when my DH's family celebrate "Christmas" all over again! Imagine 30 + exchanging gifts with tons of food :) It's a lot of fun!

I have read the Curious Dog . . . and Pillars of the Earth. Both would make my list of favorites. World Without End which is part two of the series I found not as good as Pillars but well worth the read. I just started Sarah's Key yesterday as it is my book club read for the month. I to have had reading taking a back seat to stitching but hope to find a balance in 2013. Enjoy your family sounds like a blast and Happy 2013!

Your finishes are gorgeous Angela. Proud to say two came to live with me, many thanks. I noticed there are no flat ornament finishes, one of my favourites of yours. Happy New Year to you and your family. I too have read more books this year than I have in a long time, not sure what my favourite is though.

Your stitching is always an inspiration Angela. I think that every time I see one of your finishes I want to try to do something like that myself. I don't trust myself though! LOL Will have to look up your book recommendations. I'm always looking for something new to read!! Happy New Year!!
